Head Start provides a classroom environment for children of low-income families who are three years of age, and four years of age by December 1. The program also provides educational experiences to families, which help them raise successful children. Children are provided various cognitive, affective, and motor skill development experiences in both large and small group settings. This encourages them to develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development. Lessons in general health and nutrition, along with family involvement, are part of the daily activities. To give your child the Head Start they deserve call 1-877-KIDS-577 to enroll for the 2010-2011 school year.
